Planta Hospedeira: Alimentei as larvas de Rubus sp durante todo o seu crescimento.

Características da Larva / Lagarta: A lagarta castanha, tende a ficar perto do caule da planta no qual se camufla. Esta tem maioritariamente habito nocturno.

Característica da Pupa: A lagarta faz uma espécie de teia que a envolve e pupa dentro da mesma.

Hibernação durante a criação:  Este lepidóptero hibernou na fase de pupa

Período de voo: Maio – Setembro

Envergadura:39- 46 mm

Local encontrado: Lousada, Porto, Portugal

Observações: Esta espécie na fase adulta é bastante comum na minha zona, contudo nunca vi até hoje a lagarta no campo.

Larvae / Caterpillar : The caterpillar is brownish, and it usually stays near the branch of the plant which it camuflates. They tend to be nocturnal.

Pupa:  The caterpillar makes a silk net which surrounds itself and pupates inside.

 Hibernation : Yes, the insect hibernates as pupa

Flights: May - September

Wingspan: 39-46 mm

Location:  Lousada, Porto, Portugal

Observation: This species as adult is very common, however I’ve never seen the larvae in the field.
