Planta Hospedeira: Encontrei a larva em Polygonum persicária , contudo também alimentam-se de Rumex sp .

Características da Larva / Lagarta: A lagarta inicialmente mina as folhas da planta hospedeira. Quando cresce esta sai da mina, e recorta a folha, enrolando-a e alimentando-se desta até estar pronta para pupar.

Característica da Pupa: A lagarta pupa enrolada na folha como mostra na imagem.

Hibernação durante a criação: Não observado

Período de voo: junho – finais de agosto

Envergadura: +/- 1 cm

Local encontrado: Lousada, Portugal

Hostplant: I’ve found the larvae in Polygonum persicária, however they also mine in Rumex sp.

Larvae / Caterpillar : The larvae initialy mines the hostplant leafs. When it gets to a certain stage, it gets out of the mine and cuts the leaf and bind it with silk and rolling it up, feeding on it untill it is ready to pupate.

Pupa:  A lagarta pupa enrolada na folha como mostra na imagem The larvae pupates inside the rolled leaf. 

 Hibernation: No observation

Flights: June to Late august

Wingspan: +/- 1cm
